Pure Honey
Experience the Sweetness of Pure, All-Natural Honey
My Promise
McComBees honey is derived solely from my apiaries. I only sell honey that my bees have made. There has been no adulteration of the honey. Because it is not pasteurized, the original floral aromas and smells of the honey are kept. The antioxidants, enzymes, and nutrients that are beneficial to good health are also preserved by keeping the honey at or below the hive temperature.
Raw Honey - Definition
While there is no official U.S. federal definition of raw honey, the National Honey Board defines raw honey as “honey as it exists in the beehive or as obtained by extraction, settling, or straining without adding heat.”
Organic Honey - The Truth
As of 2021, US honey cannot be certified organic by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). Any honey labeled "Certified Organic" sold in the United States is imported from other countries and certified organic by that country.
The USDA has no standard for organic honey and, therefore, US-derived honey cannot be legally labeled as USDA organic.
Bottom Line
I produce high-quality, natural, raw honey products at a reasonable price. The honey is sourced entirely from my bees. Every effort is made to keep the honey in its natural state. As a result, the honey is as close to being unfiltered and raw as is practical.
